Recently, Ebay decided to move it's customer support overseas. Last time I checked, America needed jobs. The level of satisfaction provided by the new Customer Service is way below standard even for the low expectations that foreign customer service typically garners. At this particularly dismal period in the American economy, should ebay's decision to move the Customer Service department overseas be considered un-american? Is their total lack of concern for the situation at home a sign that the company is morally bankrupt? Where is the "community" ethic that started this company so many years ago? Did our community move with Customer Service? Is ebay's desire to make money given more priority than the welfare of it's inhabitants? I would like to initiate a petition to bring the jobs back home. I feel it was wrong for ebay to slap America in the face by sending our jobs overseas. It's also wrong for us to have laws and tax structures that allow and encourage this to happen, but that doesn't excuse ebay for taking advantage. Sign the petition, send the message. It's not okay to contribute to the decline of the American economy. It's not okay to withdraw support of the country that spawned ebay to begin with and it's not okay to provide substandard customer support to a community based business like ebay.
