eBay, stop charging seller fees on shipping
We believe that eBay should not be charging seller fees on shipping costs when the seller is charging true cost of shipping for the weight and style of shipment. Charging seller fees on shipping drives up the overall cost of the purchase when sellers try to "make up" for it by raising the price of the item (or shipping) to cover the fees, or it discourages honest sellers from selling on eBay, due to these unfair charges. Seeing that when a seller uses the eBay shipping application, eBay can actually see whether the seller shipped at cost (or at a mark up). We suggest that eBay should charge fees ONLY on shipping mark ups instead of on the entire shipping fee. eBay could do this by offering an "honest shipper perk" that requires shippers who would like to take advantage of this perk to use only the eBay shipping application.
