Reading through all your stories about lost profits is eye-opening. We are compiling these experiences to show how this policy hurts the average seller.

ebay fees are out of control. they take a cut of everything now even the money i pay the post office. total robbery.
It is so hard to make any profit anymore. Between the final value fees and the shipping tax it just isnt worth listing here anymore.
Ebay rewards the dishones. Ebay clearly stated in all policies that you are not allowed to charge any extra for shipping but yet they take 10% of shipping cost and 10% if auction sell price. I only charge exact shipping cost, so why should ebay get that I now have to pay that extra 10% to the post office out of my pocket so basically I am paying ebay 20% to list for free! After paying ebay that 10% shipping cost on a 3$ sale item, I might as well give it away as all the sale money has to go to ebay for the 10% final value fee and then again to the shipping fee. I am not sure why they get anything for shipping, they did not buy my shipping supplies, they did not drive it to the post office, they did not package it up? As an ebay member for 8 years now, I am tired of being taking advantage of and question the ethics of this company. Needless to say I would sign this petition 100% of the time!
