The Easy Giveaway app is designed to help small businesses expand their audiences on Instagram by enabling easy administration of a promotional giveaway. Small businesses must currently use time-consuming manual methods for counting up the entries in their giveaways and randomly picking a winner. This app makes it easy to count entries with the click of a button. Clicking another button randomly selects a winner, removing much of the time and effort that must be spent administering a giveaway. However, Instagram has declined to approve the use of their API in the app, citing that it does not fit into the category of helping businesses manage their audiences.
