I support the federally approved charter restart model as a whole school turnaround plan for East High School and Waterfront School.  Our city and our school district are facing a crisis with 44 of 57 district public schools identified as “failing.”  Families need options and deserve high quality public schools.  Please approve the charter applications for East and Waterfront.
