To: Residents and Community Members of East Cobb County Issue: T-Mobile would like to erect a cellular tower on the grounds of Eastvalley Elementary School Benefits: 1. Revenue to Eastvalley - $90,000 every 5 years, minimum. An additional $60,000 goes to the Cobb County School District to be used for other schools in the Cobb School system. 2. Property values - a school can raise or lower property values inof itself, and the cell tower will enable Eastvalley to become more competitive with neighboring elementary schools, making it a more desirable area for young families to move into. 3. No new taxes - the improvements to the school would not require raising property taxes. 4. Better Cell Phone Coverage 5. Safety – cell towers are low emission radio frequencies (RF), emitting less frequencies than a microwave and are considered safe by the FCC and many other organizations.
