The RSPCA is considering closing its Northiam and Bluebell Ridge (Hastings) rescue centres citing a lack of funding. Doing so will place extra strain on other local rescue organisations who already spend most of their time at maximum capacity and cannot take in any more animals - in this case cats. This could lead to a drastic increase in the amount of cats needlessly euthanised instead of being rehomed.

This is ridiculous. Where are all these animals supposed to go? The local shelters are already bursting at the seams. Fix the funding somehow dont just shut the doors.

THINK OF THE CATS. Need these places open or so many healthy pets are guna be put down for no reason. Not okay.

These centres do so much hard work. Closing them would be absolutely heartbreaking for all the vulnerable cats in Hastings. Please keep them open.
