An Alva high school (a really good one) would be a dream come true and we support it 100%. And yes, we do live in the East Zone, and we have a 7th grader at The Alva School

I agree, it will create more jobs to help protect the park from the destruction of the Youth of today. It's a preserve, not a TRUE park!

The property in Bonita was already owned too. They have alloted 11 million to build this school...why not.invest that 11 million in existing structures instead of building a new school?!?!

Because Riverdale High is 10 minute drive from Alva, and East Lee County High is 15.
You want less than 5 minute drive, then don't live in the beautiful preserved area out in Alva our East Lehigh.

Growing up I wished the old Alva high school was still open so I didn't have to to go to Riverdale. There is an Alva elementary and middle school so why not a high school; there used to be back in the day. Bring it back because it will be good for the community.

Alva High School needs to be reborn and Alva needs a High School in their community. It was sad when they closed it and all the students were sent to Riverdale., especially the graduating Seniors that year.

I fully support the use of the Lee County School Board's land at Tuckahoe and Joel to be used for the next East Zone high school.
