What Preston needs is a bypass, not more housing!

The traffic and parking in the village is terrible at the moment.

this is a village and has to much traffic now

too much trafic now

Traffic, flooding, bus service are of the utmost priority.

I dont see how the village will cope with the extra traffic.

The village cannot cope with traffic as it is let alone adding 85 more houses at an average of 2 cars per house especially when there are cars parked in main street for the residents who live in main street.

Preston is congested enough. The existing infrastructure cannot take the potential increase in traffic

Preston does not have any proper sites left for housing.

it would be more strain on the roads through if allowed to build yet more houses near the black spot traffic, it will not cope, it is deadly already.

this will add more traffic. build your houses some where else. why spoil a nice little village

why is that small villages and towns such as preston and hedon have to be built on? there are 10's of acres of unused factory land on hedon road and within hull city centre. leave the countryside as it.

The Main Street and surrounding roads cannot cope as it is!

This area of Preston is already a traffic black spot at the start / end of the day with long queues from the traffic lights and sometimes beyond Nags Head pub. Parked cars narrow this area considerably and as residents have little choice but to park here, added vehicles to proposed housing will escalate the issue. 85 houses could result in between 85-170 extra vehicles per day if homeowners have between 1 and 2 cars per property. Preston was not built in a way that copes with so many developments.

The Council planners more than once promised there would be no more development in Preston without a major improvement in traffic.
