We, the residents of East Ledang, hereby state our objection to any short term lease of property in East Ledang by way of AirBnB and/or other platforms, online or otherwise.

Such short term leases have resulted in dis-amenity to the residents of East Ledang and are a direct contravention of Clause 10 of the Deed of Mutual Covenants (DMC), specifically the following By-Laws in The Third Schedule of the DMC:

By-Law 1: USE OF SAID PROPERTY

By-Law 2: PROHIBITION OF COMMERCIAL USE

By-Law 3: NUISANCE

By-Law 4: ILLEGAL USE OF THE SAID PROPERTY PROHIBITED

We hereby urge the master developer, UEM LAND BERHAD, to enforce the aforementioned By-Laws as provided for in the DMC.
