Friends, HELP PROTECT OUR LAKES! If you live near, on, or just love East Crooked Lake, Lake Joanna, Loch Leven, West Crooked Lake, Lake Gertrude, and beyond, THIS IMPACTS YOU.

Please show your support in urging Eustis and Lake County to maintain current zoning of one home per acre for the Crooked Lake Groves parcel on East Crooked Lake.

Maintaining consistent, minimal development patterns on our lakes sets a standard for future development. Underground, East Crooked connects to Lake Joanna, Loch Leven, West Crooked Lake, Lake Gracie, and beyond. What happens on East Crooked Lake could have far-reaching effects on water quality, ecosystems, and viewshed in our area.

If you no longer live in Lake County, YOU CAN STILL SIGN. Help us show that this is a BIG deal, and even former residents are concerned.

By signing, I support maintaining the current maximum density of one home per acre for the 38-acre undeveloped property on East Crooked Lake.

Due to the environmentally-sensitive nature of this property, the proposed development may negatively impact waterbodies and water quality in our area.

I am not opposed to progress, but we have to be mindful of the environment while doing so in order to preserve some semblance of control.

My husband and I have each lived in Lake County for over 60 years! Once our water resources are exploited, remorse will not fix the damage done.

My husband and I have lived on Lake Joanna Drive overlooking Lake Joanna. We built the house with our own two hands and all of our young children helped. I believe the over development of the property in question will destroy the beauty, serenity and quality of the environment and plead for those persons with the power to stop this will listen to the people and not the money!

My parents lived on East Crooked Lake and treasured and respected the quality of that lake. Lake County residents are so fortunate to have many pristine, clear, sand bottom lakes to enjoy. Over development threaten the quality of life for all. We saw what happened when the beautiful orange groves froze and the land was sold off for trailer parks and crammed housing.

traffic is already bad enough on these back roads without adding hundreds of new cars. please leave the density alone and stop building on every empty patch of land we have left.

Please do not over develop the land and pollute the lakes.

No high density development on East Crooked Lake!
