The roads are coping as it is, more development will be a disaster for the roads as well as the schools, shops, emergency services etc We need to stop building new houses without thinking and planning ahead.

The traffic is ridiculous at peak times trying to head to seaford. You are either backed up trying to get across the bridge at Port Noarlunga.... or have to deal with the weekly car accidents at the end of the expressway that adds up to half an hour plus on your trip home from work. You can't continue to build houses without addressing the fact that there's only 2 ways south and they both have major issues

The original plan to extend Dyson Rd via New Rd across the river to Jarred Rd is 30yrs plus overdue get on with it and free up and improve the traffic flow ...

The traffic is atrocious to cross on commercial rd during peak hour it’s unsafe and I don’t feel comfortable letting my kids catch the bus as they would have to cross a road with constant flow of high speed traffic Don’t even try to beat traffic when there is an accident in south rd - road blocks for miles and miles

This road is carrying too much traffic & has become very dangerous.. With the amount of houses & new estates built down south the Government & Local Council have neglected to accommodate for increased traffic..Creating a critical situation for both Residents & Commuters..

Absolutely agree peak hours are hideous. Very difficult and dangerous to get onto commercial road in the mornings at peak hour and dont even think about going through port noarlunga - its bumper to bumper.

I fully agree with the arguments put forward in this petition and also demand action on this issue!

I can’t believe their is more housing development plans down south and there are only two roads that cross the Onkaparinga river. It is already so congested at peak times.

Bad planning by council and authorities. Should be duel road, but I'm guessing the horse has bolted. Sadly ...Probably needs more road crashes before any take up.

Cease development until the infrastructure can sufficiently foster the growth of this region.

The traffic congestion at the moment is terrible when there are car accidents on south road or on commercial road. This needs urgent attention.

Please. Travel from the city everyday and as soon as one road issue it takes well over 1.5 hours to get back to port Noarlunga!

The queuing to get through to port NoarlungaSouth is already terrible - taking 20 mins to get a 5 minute drive home. Dreading what will happen with the new development - riad needs to be widened

When and where is a 3rd access road to this happening?

It’s ludicrous that the traffic is that bad already even without the new developments underway.

Ridiculous that this development is going ahead at all, let alone without upgrading all ready at capacity infrastructure! Another short sighted development by a rate hungry council!
