Ease Traffic Congestion in the South - Infrastructure before Development

Living in this area , we see this everyday and something needs to be done before more housing developments and house block cutting ( sub dividing ).

I live on Commercial rd , when expressway closed hard to get out of my drive way

Needs two lanes each way with new bridge from Maccas to Maslin Beach with a view to extend when there is more development

I can't believe there even has to be a petition about this. Housing developers and the council are just cashing in no matter the cost or impact.

For years the developments in this area have continued with disregard to the required road infrastructure!

There is already congestion. When people move into the new sub development along Commercial Ave it will be absolute chaos getting through Port Noarlunga and over the bridge.

Why does dyson rd merge from 2 lanes to one after beach Rd when there is plenty of space to have a second lane to goldsmith drive? Why when we turn right onto seafood road from south Rd do 2 lanes become one right in front of bunning? A poor design, inciting drivers frustration and in turn road rage.

Sick and tired of being ignored in the south

100% stop building more houses without improving the infrastructure.. should be a no brainer!

I live at pt noarlunga sth and the roads in question are a nightmare

The single biggest local Gov issue atm. We need an extra 50kmh lane on Commercial Rd for the squids that like to sit on 50 from Port Noarlunga to Moana with nothing in front of them.

This is a major concern for locals - the infrastructure simply does not support the population growth

The afternoon traffic is backed up Murry rd, along Gawler st to get over the Port Noarlunga bridge, but they are still buiding more houses, with no planes for road upgrade.

South road is overloaded, accidents daily pushes overload to Murray street passage. It’s a joke and we have to have more subdivisions go in to make it worse. Please for the love of god do something before we build more houses

Fix the roads and put in the correct infrastructure to suit your massive grab on housing taxes
