We, the employees of EasCare Ambulance, would like to revise the uniform policy currently in place. Currently, we have a couple of options for the colder weather conditions: green winter jacket provided by EasCare at time of hire or the black police sweater. Note: Both options should have appropriate patches on sleeves.

At this time, we are being told that we are not allowed to wear the black ruben sweater regardless if it has the appropriate patches or not.

We feel as if the black ruben sweater with appropriate patches should either be added to the list of approved attire, or at the very least, be considered a newer style of the police sweater that is already approved.

Over the years with all of the changes regarding where our uniforms are supplied from, most of our jackets and pullovers are all different shades of the color green. This does not look professional and some of the provided jackets are of poor quality. These statements are not meant to be disrespectful, as we are all very grateful for the uniforms that are provided for us, we just want the ability to provide ourselves with a suitable alternative to the black police sweater option within the current policy.

The black ruben sweaters would be a nice addition to our uniform policy and in our opinion will make us look more professional.
