-Individual attention during these years is a fundamental piece of high quality education.
-A class size of 24 creates an environment wherein individual attention is lessened and the class itself may be more difficult to manage.
-Therefore, the Moraga School District should adopt policies that ensure manageable classes and individual attention for all students. Feasible measures include, but are not limited to capping class size for TK–2nd grade to 20 students or increasing aide time for classes with 20-24 students.

The response to this initiative has surpassed my initial expectations. It is clear that our community recognizes the importance of maintaining manageable class sizes for our youngest students. This momentum provides a strong foundation as we prepare to present these concerns to the district officials.

I'm already supplementing my child's education at Kumon in fear of class sizes being too big when he enters kindergarten. I hope I don't have to continue this
24 kids in a room with 5 year olds is just too many. keep it to 20 please
As a mother with an incoming kindergartner who will be one of the youngest in the class (turns 5 this July), and also a shy boy by nature, I'm very concerned that a large class size will be very detrimental to my son. He thrives with one-on-one attention and guidance, and is not one to demand a lot of attention. I fear he'll get lost in the crowd of a too-large class that has children who are more outgoing and naturally draw attention to themselves.
I believe that K-1 are grades which would benefit from a class size limit of 20.
We will no longer be able to advertise a great school district if policies continue to undermine the potential success of our students
