Our principal, Mr. Davies, is initiating a process to change the schedule at Broadview Avenue Public School to a "Balanced School Day."  The process for Mr. Davies to change the school schedule to a "Balanced School Day" is very similar to, or even the same as, the process to change the start times.  Thus, this petition is to request that Mr. Davies please include the start time as a consideration in the newly initiated process to change the schedule at Broadview.  

Before signing the petition you should consider that the new start time at Broadview could be any time between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM.  Later start times are not an option because we need to stagger start times with the neighbouring high schools.  And you also need to consider that an earlier start time would result in an earlier dismissal time of equal duration - i.e. if the start time is 40 minutes earlier, the dismissal time will be 40 minutes earlier.  

Specifically by signing the survey you are requesting that the survey(s) about the school schedule include questions regarding earlier start and dismissal times and the results of the survey(s) be incorporated into changes that are made to the schedule at Broadview.
