$99 is retail price for AppleCare+ which is a 2 year coverage . We all know about quantity discounts right? Also, this covers up to two incedents with an out of pocket charge of $49 each. Even if EACS didn't get a quantity discount, why are we also still paying the additional $30+ which we have been told was for insurance?

This is a ridiculous fee with no forewarning! I even asked about the fee at registration and there was NO mention of the additional charge!

They told me on vm message I have until March to pay or they send me to collection. I asked for a them to give me the books and I will opt out of iPad... Nothing but a liability and distraction! They told me nope can't do!! I bet the books would of been cheaper???

We have to pay this for the kids to play games on. I asked my on to see his school stuff on his iPad. Guess what there are no books just a canvas thing that doesn't work correctly.

Only use I have ever seen was videos and games!! My son who is in the 10th grade does not even have a cell phone because I feel he is not responsible enough for one yet. Never agreed nor liked him having to have this for school!!!!!!!!!

I think we should be given a choice in this Matt! We have our own iPads and why am I paying this outrageous charge? So much for a $30 rental charge to a $131 rental charge without notice!!

A heads up on the additional fee would have been nice. Esp when we were told the insurance fee would be included in rental this year not the ipads.

This is our first student at Leo Junior Senior High School so when we received the fees for our seventh grader we did not realize the fees were not normal. I saw this Petition and took a closer look at the invoice. I hope EACS will consider going back to the $30.00 rental fee that we pay for our children at Leo Elementary School.

My kids have their own ipads...and they work better than the school issued one. Why am I paying the licensing and users fees when I didn't decide to have the ipads to begin with! Total crap.

We were charged for two iPads that we never accepted/received. You don't have to accept the iPads.

I asked about the typical $30 iPad charge at registration ND said "oh they're tacking it to the book fees later." Now I know why! We have iPads and Samsung tablets and don't even need these Ipads, which the books don't work on half the time anyway. Not paying $131. Hell to the no.

I cannot believe that we are being charged $131 for i pad RENTAL fees! I have 2 kids at Heritage and I cannot afford this. As a parent book fees and technology fees are rising higher and higher. It is too much.

$917 (at minimum) for "usage" of iPads that are required! I could buy 2 at that amount.
