Here's hoping there's a 2nd option. I WILL NOT pay that fee! They can have their useless iPad back. I don't know of one parent who has a positive thing to say about this ridiculous bit of technology that's been shoved down or throats. I'm done being pushed around by the EACS administration. You can take this iPad, and shove it!

Used to attend Heritage, glad I don't anymore. I would use my personal iPad that has cellular connection rather than pay those ridiculous fees.

I believe the district should have been more transparent with this planned fee increase and given parents the option of a) paying the fee b) using textbooks instead of ipads or c) using personal ipads.

If iPad fees are going to be charged the admin needs to do a better job at utilizing them more to eliminate the actual books we are still getting charged for.

I am paying twice the amount in book fees for my 7th grader then I am for my 2nd and 4th! This is crazy. The iPads were supposed to help reduce the fees. Not increase them.

Poorly done EACS ! You expect an A rating of all your schools yet this administration deserves a D+ at best. And I'm pretty damn sure I'm only going to pay the $30 like last year!

I will not pay this fee. We have a budget and I always account for enough to cover what is typically charged every year! I have two kids at the high school and our bill is over 800.00. Not happening! I would rather buy our own iPads and keep them. Actually, I would rather my kids just used the laptops we bought them. Another thing that bothers me, I thought these iPads were to eliminate the use of books and the book fees. Our book fees are higher this year as well. >:(

The ipads should'nt be used at all!!! Some kids can't even write their name or anything in cursive. Drop the ipad all together..

Some families live paycheck to paycheck then with no advance notice you tack on this ridiculous fee !! The district needs to absorb most of that cost or so away with the I pads!!

I understand the need for the service package on the iPads because some kids may be a little rough with them. However, what I do not appreciate is not being informed ahead of time that the charge for the iPads would go up so significantly.
