We didn't want these iPads! You told us we would have all text books on them too. 3 kids and I have to pay 900 dollars. Your lunches are too expensive too. We make too much money to get help and I can't afford this!!!!

This was a huge shock on the school fees. I have an iPad my child could use, why are we being forced to pay this ridiculous fee!

Low income families get textbook assistance on these fees. What about the rest of us? Just because we're not destitute doesn't mean we can afford these book fees.

I agree this is unfair to families who live on a fixed income. We should have been notified ahead of time at registration that the iPad fee was increasing this much.

I have 3 kids 7, 9, & 12. There is no way I can afford this kind of money. If I don't pay does that mean my daughter doesn't graduate.

I could buy my child their own iPad for the next 4 years to keep for the price of 4 yrs rental fee! At least I'd have something to show for my money & it wouldn't be a hunk of crap that my child has to use, because another student didn't take care of it the year before them.

The price it outrageous, I have yet to see my child bring him a real book that I pay for. When the books are suposibly on his ipad, then why are the additional book fees. Or the supsibly stay in the classroom, why am I paying for a book that my child isn't allowed to bring home. Also have yet to see him do any school related thing on his ipad at home, all i see is him playing games. If this is such a necessity why is it not being use more. By the time he graduates I could have just bought him one myself. The pice is not right and should be abolished parents should not have to pay and should have a choice if they want their child to even have and ipad.

This doesn't only affect 7th - 12th grades...we were charged the $131 fee for our 6th graders iPad and then an additional $90 to repair a cracked screen. What is the Apple care insurance for???

I pulled my kids from EACS several years ago to home school them. One is now doing Hossier Academy and the other is going to Smith Academy and guess what ABSOLUTELY NO BOOK FEES. All I have to pay is my internet bill, pencils and notebook paper. Plus I feel they are getting a better education!!
