This is not acceptable. This needs to be given some sort of option!

My senior has only 2 books on the iPad - neither of which actually works. It's definately not needed let alone cost a ridiculous amount that was conveniently not mentioned prior to receiving the bill.

The fee is unfair.
Students who start paying this fee in 7th grade, will have paid more than the value of the IPad by senior year. Six years @ $131.13 for a total of $786.78. (Almost twice the actual value of the IPad).
Current Seniors will have paid $341.13 for iPad use since the onset of the program.
At this rate, students should take ownership of their iPads upon graduation.

Daughter is Samantha Summers. The parents of said students have the right to know what the charge covers, who the company is providing the coverage, what other options were explored and why is this coverage mandatory when students already pay for damaged devices when damage occurs.

Please tell me that you did not know the district was going to do this. What happens to families who can pay this fee? I am sorry all families are not as rich as the superintendent

I understand that education is first priority in a school. Having said that, many of us parents need a chance to decide what takes place within the school day.
You are joking Right????
