I have been in the USA for 8 years as a dependent on my parents' E-2 business visa. After I complete school, I would love to attend a top US university to continue my education, and it devastates me that after my student visa expires, I will have no right to work or stay in the country I have lived in for as long as I can remember. Please, please consider the status of E-2 dependents like me, and give us (legal immigrants, whose parents have brought investment and employment to this country), a path to citizenship. Thank you.

I have been in the USA for 8 years as a dependent on my parents' E-2 business visa. I recently graduated as Valedictorian of my high school and will have a place to study at UC Berkeley in August 2018. It devastates me that after my student visa expires, I will have no right to work or stay in the country I have lived in for as long as I can remember. Please, please consider the status of E-2 dependents like me, and give us (legal immigrants, whose parents have brought investment and employment to this country), a path to citizenship. Thank you.

We have been E-2 visa holders for 8 years and our children have been brought up in the USA. It devastates us that after the age of 21 they have no right at all to be in this country - to work/study/continue their lives. Please, please consider their status and give them, and us (legal immigrants, who have brought investment and employment to this country), a path to citizenship. Thank you.

Have had an E2 visa for 18 years. Our 24 year old daughter who graduated from UNLV has to leave the country on 2/15/18 as her OPT expires. She did not qualify for DACA only because she never came here illegally.

My son is graduating from UCF in March and hs been accepted for the 12 months OPT work visa sohe may try to find an employer who will sponsor him for a Green Card - the clock is ticking - he has lived here almost half of his life yet unless he gets married or can be sponsored for a Green Card he will have to leave even though he watns so much to give back to the USA> Our daughter who is in the top 11% of students at UCF will soon face the dilemma having spent over half of her life in the USA. The USA is losing valuable expertise, skills and resources every day by denying these young people and their E2 visa business owner parents a pathway to permanent residency via and Green Card and then hopefully with citizenship

The people on this visa are here starting companies and hiring employees. Please stand with hard working people who came to the country the correct way. Thank You.

11 years here on E2. A path to permanent residency would allow us to plan for our future and reinvest the funds currently being spent on immigration and legal fees to grow our businesses and create more jobs.
