As we strive on and support the FeesMustFall campaign, we recognise that true economic liberation in our lifetime requires a multifaceted approach.

The other approach is the bottleneck of employment. Once we graduate we may expect to put our knowledge and energy to use. However at the rate of the economy's growth, many are already sitting at home and there may be no prosperity on the other side for us.

We also need to engage in a revolution of the economic system, dropping the privilege of political Oligopolistic corporate economy, dropping it for a democratised start-up and SME led economy. Putting money into the hand of many.

The DUYUO start-up expo is the first of these initiatives that will expose you to, startup opportunities and support structures to students. The current career expo format ignoring this important aspect of opportunity is a system to be changed.
