This is an absolute Joke, typical wanneroo council stuffing things up due to a minority of stupid people. Also to suggest surfers now head to an extremely overcrowded wave with nowhere to park is even worse. The decision makers at the councils are ruining our state. This is just outrageous! Thanks again for ruining our pastimes cow. Not happy at all!!!!!

The government seems to actively seek conflict by doing crap like this. let us enjoy the country we live in. Don't lock us out because of your incompetent management.

I recently purchased a property in Ridgewood even though i work in Nedlands, which is a decent 45mins to an hour drive. The reasoning behind this is i love my fishing and use the tracks north of Two Rocks quite frequently, the fact that the tracks may be closed due to some political nonsense has completely diminished my faith in our political system and my newly acquired local Council! Shame Shame Shame!

My Family would be devastated if there area was closed. Fantastic Place for a leisurely 4x4, stop for a fish and enjoy being able to do so without travelling 200km

This is a very popular location for 4x4 offroad activity, the council should ensure there is another location (and advertise it) that provides the same access to offroad enthusiasts. Listing "The Spot" as an alternative for surfers on their website does not help out the 4x4 community, a bit more information should be provided around this.

city of wanneroo - very selfish. i remember being chased out of pipidinny because our motorbikes were causing erosion/environmental damage - you then bulldoze it all for houses!

its an Australian way of life to be able to take our children 4wding, camping and fishing along our magnificent coastline and experience nature at its best. if certain people are threatening this privelidge then please target those at fault ( ranger and police patrols ) and not the law abiding citizens who respect our country in all aspects

u, 2014-03-27 20:57 Hey guys, quadfishers daughter here! Me and my younger sister have been going down this particular area for 17 years and we think its absolutley ridiculous that because of selfish reaons the shire want to shut it off. We go to this area to relax and have a good time with our doggie charlie and think that other kids in future wont have this opportunity to have this experience. When in the past when family problems have unforunatley arisen, having this place to have a day full of joy and being in nature makes it more then just a beach. My generation of people have already got so far connected from the simple joys of life and being at one with nature because of boredem, technology and the influences of drugs and alcohol and shutting off access to these areas just compounds these problems for young people. So please fill in then petition as sometime in the future i want to be able to take my children to areas like this and experience simple things like beach camping and fishing. Thankyou, Samantha 17 and Georgia 14 :)

Your council needs to take a step back and realize just what a asset you have in this area , grow some intestinal fortatude and manage the area for all west aussies , its simply that important.
