We need to keep amazing spots like this open for our kids and our kids kids. Why can't they develop a little more inland and leave the dunes alone?

its ridiculous ive been once and had a ball, no damage done, families shouldnt be letting kids wander and stay with them if they are worried about safety. There are safe zones at beaches for swimmers so why cant they make a public area zoned from 4x4ers and come to a happy medium as opposed to cutting everyone of, infact now there will probably be more dangers due to people making there own way in. Give us other great dune areas to drive on or separate areas.

If we closed every bit of road or track with safety concerns Perth drivers wouldnt have anything left. The council spent all that money putting bituman on the entrance and warning signs throughout only to close it now? Seems a bit of a waste.

This plan will take away Two Rocks' last draw card. To say the surfers can just go to 'the spot' 7 kilometres away is comparable to closing trigg because surfers can just go to scarborough. lt's not just surfers, but fisherman, divers, swimmers, families and recreational four wheel drivers will all miss out on this unique section of our state. for what, the claim seems to be safety concerns. Clearly negligable to non existent. Most people aware of this plan (all voters don't forget) don't buy the safety concern excuse and believe there to be alterior motives. Please be honest with your reasons so we can all have informed discussion to come to the best outcome for all. Compromise is something we are all willing to do, is the council? Or have you already made up your minds and just going through the motions? You are our representatives, give us a say in what you decide is best for us!

City of Wanneroo, dont miss out on a massive tourism opportunity! You have some of the best tracks in the Perth Metro area, it just takes a few small ammendments to make it a great place for people to visit and take their families! Make a small carpark (like Preston Beach) for people to air up and down away from homes, a couple of overtaking spots and some good signage and friendly, helpful rangers. Even place a donation box or a five dollar fee at the entrance. Give us a chance to show you what a great place this could be, as opposed to just the montonous answer of housing development! Thanks City of Wanneroo.
