This not only affects families, fishermen, four wheel drivers and surfers, the closure of the track has an enormous impact on local small business and community.

The decision to close the access point and remove 4wd activity is based on so called safety issues. most likely it is driven by insurance concerns by the shire as well as clearing out the area for more development. We must stop assuming our freedoms and we need to fight for them at every turn. Stop taking fredom for granted and get active with your local politician otherwise your freedom will not beprotected. We must stop this lock out mindset on the part of government.

I think closing the track is ridiculous as it will not only affect the 4wd community but also the local businesses. Everytime I have been out there, the people were couteous to others and the environment.

Such a shame, we can't share this beautiful beach with our 3 children, so many fun times can be shared as a family.

Closure to access of this area to 4x4s is disappointing. Maybe tighten the rules instead, but the majority of users are well behaved and very environmentally friendly.
