We work so hard and would like to have access to good areas close enough to home so that we can have a relaxing weekend doing something we enjoy

Our local destination where we have spent many hours of 4wd fun and adventures with all our family and friends from here and over East. Our kids absolutely love going to the dunes and it is a damn shame that they are the ones that are being let down by our council. Beautiful place that needs to be shared with generations to come..its a damn shame the council feel the need to close it down...is it due to development or due to safety concerns...who really knows.
maybe they do have concerns of safety and mistreatment of the dunes. As over the past few months we have seen alot more dumped cars and rubbish strewed all over the dunes and beaches. People have to remember to respect our piece of paradise and then maybe we may get it back.

Iv been 4x4 ing in two rocks and wilbinga since I was a bub and I wish to continue doing so with my children when they are older

So, please city of wanneroo let us know why?? Why close down such a well known and well used track? Why not make it like a toll booth? Like $5 entry fee or $10 or even $20 I'm sure the majority of people would pay it. And maybe put some bins at the entrance? And last but not least??? Why start building further north, when you haven't even finished developing alkimos/ jindalee/ shore haven?????? WHY NOT FINISH ONE PROJECT BEFORE STARTING ANOTHER!!!???? I'm sure this is doing a lot of people's heads in, not just my own I hope!! Ruining perfectly good nature, FOR WHAT?... That's right, absolutely nothing!!

Derrs track is on private land so why are the shire trying to stop you useing it (if it's private they can't )
