myself and family (2x young children) really enjoy going to this place instead of being cooped up indoors in front of tv. Allow us to please enjoy the beautiful country we live in. And rather than punish the innocent people who do the right thing, how about look into controlling or fining the offenders that have to ruin it for all. Its a great family day out. We take the kids up there, have a swim, a bite to eat, explore and often watch dolphines and whales playing around in the water. If you need to control, how about people apply or a annual permit (like a national park pass) and those that abuse the area are fined or reported.

Perhaps a consultation with the community would have been a better course of action before closing off access that has been open for years would have been a more judicious course of action.
