The issue of the D’Urbanvale entrances have been an issue for many years. Who is responsible? The residents or council? To date council cannot produce any plans by their own admission. Council wants to meet with residents to discuss ownership which includes LIABILITY? Parts of the entrances infringe onto council land. As residents we need to express our opinion. Do we keep the entrances and accept liability? Council has mentioned in the past that the pillars that infringe onto council land could be partially demolished. Please bear in mind that it seems that D’Urbanvale was sold as a “gated” community but this never transpired. Meeting in Chesterhouse on Tuesday the 11th June 2013 starting at 19h00. Please attend.
