Durban University of Technology Policy to refuse Reissuing Diploma when lost or damaged

This policy does not put the students best interest at hand. How do students who have lost their certificates apply for jobs if the University puts an unfavorable policy and prejudices the students.

I stand against this DUT new rule. They know very well the level of crime in this country I could loose my qualifications at any given time. As long as I can always reapply for my ID at home affairs, the same should apply with all higher education institutes

Totally unprofessional of them to act like that.

Let fight this issue I'm trying to arrange something with the dean but he is nowhere to be found, I was gonna try to go to the SRC

This thing is ridiculous, what if someone steals my suitcase with my diploma in it? What if the whole house burn down with my certificate in it? DUT must reissue us with the diploma

reissue the certificates, Point blank period. We pay so much of school fees, you can't tell us that DUT can't reissue lost certificates ?
