pliz gib proper low latency audio as a standard to us, without the crappy horrible radio like sound quality when using the microphone!

this is a seldom recognised issue. When a headset wants to transmit microphone audio, it enters the handsfree profile. audio bandwidth is significantly reduced. One is forced to choose between using the microphone or having high-quality audio over A2DP.

This is unacceptable to not have any standards regarding audio+mic just working. Proprietary stuff is always with its own limitations. Hopefully BT will upgrade to allow this and not force me to use CABLE with WIRELESS headphones to hear anything more than garbage-audio. Out of words :)

I recently purchased a Bluetooth headset and am shocked to find that high quality stereo output does not work at the same time as the microphone. This is a much needed feature for video calling and working from home.

Bluetooth 5 has the bit rates. Why can't we just do a2dp both ways?!
As others have mentioned, there is basically *no* working Bluetooth headset that adheres to the standard.
What the hell?
We have profiles for everything from printing to pace makers, but nothing for one of the main use cases?

I discovered this after purchasing the latest Bose QuietComfort buds primarily for work purposes. The sound quality due to this limitation renders all bluetooth headphones (even premium ones) completely useless.
