I was one of those soldiers who gave up more than a day's pay, not through choice either. I supported numerous fund raising events and voted in, again not through choice, a donation from the WOs' & Sgts' Mess, for what?

Like all others paid into the fund throughout my career and it wasnt voluntary as people might suggest, Promises were made which never materialized

Team Leader of the Motor Cycle Display Team 85 -95 so had RA Museum constantly discussed. I was horrified on my first and last visit it cost me £11.

The whole issue is a con, it was a con back in the 1980s and it's a con now. The idea of high ranking officers, no good business plan them or now. They think the Gunners will always bankroll their follies.

After giving 22 years to the Gunners and always given money to gunner charities I feel I deserve my Gold card that was promised all those years ago

I think we should deserve to have free entry into the museum as we served proudly in the Regiments and also gave money from our wages for the upkeep.

As a boy I regularly went to the Rotunda & as the son of an ex long service RA & have 2 brothers who served in the RA, I'm appalled at the treatment of ex RA Veterans. Shame on you all you skinflints!
