I am 66 and my wife 60 we are both disable couldnt pay that much at one time so we went to curb side now we have to get someone to take it to the road about200 ft.its a lot easier to drop, off a couple of bags at a time our family has been paying taxes on this land sense the 40's!

I am a retired Air Force veteran and the fees put a strain on our lifestyle.

Maybe break it down to pay something every 3 months...$155 is just much to pay at 1 time!!

Seniors, vets and disabled are already on fixed incomes and most of the time have no means of supplementing their income and with health and medical cost , and cost of living going up everyday, this should be one burden they do not have to deal with.

Seniors need financial help. We can't increase our annual income.

I only have 2 bags of trash a week. Having to pay so much to dump is ridiculous.

I’m in full agreement. These fees are way to high. I don’t know what I’m going to do because I really ca not afford these fees.

I need this service badly, I am out of work and on Disability. I have been a Newton County resident and Tax payer for 35 years.

I do not agree with charging any fees. When I needed to dump items I had to let them accumulate and rent a uhaul truck to take items to the dump. It doesn't make since to make small trips to the landfill. Also, my car is not suitable to take to the landfill. It would damage my car. I have regular trash service but every so often I need to dump something thus I did not by a yearly pass. People should be able to buy a day pass if you will not do away with the fees.
