I've lived there for 16 years and have seen the station go from a deserted platform to a packed one - particularly on the end where the exit is. During special events, of which there are more and more, it gets backed up to a dangerous level, leaving no space on the platform with trains coming and going.

Delson or Sherman's proposal is a Modern, practical solution for a daunting subway station which sits in an ideal location. Great re-purposing of exisiting architectural details.
Station really needs to catch up with the neighborhood surrounding it.
