Got hit in Feb 2021 by a Ford 250 with a trailer, hauling a backhoe. He was traveling southbound on DVR and ran the red-light at Seminary when my light was green to turn left onto DVR. The light had been red for at least 30 seconds and he never slowed down until he saw me turning left. I saw him out of the corner of my eye and floored the gas and swerved to the right. He still hit me but the cop said it would have been much worse if I hadn't done that due to his speed and the weight he was carrying. He would have broadsided me but instead smashed the front side of my SUV. $9500 in damage.

I do not live in the neighborhood, but my teenage daughter has many friends in that area.

Definitely needed! My grandfather and aunt were killed at that intersection, although it didn’t have to do with the light that I know of (drunk driver) I believe it would be so much more safe!

I’ve personally been hit by someone running a red light at this intersection in Nov 2007. Nothing has changed and it’s only worse now.

There should also be a crosswalk since so many people cross the street to use the reservoir trails.

Grew up down the street from here and knew a family impacted by a fatal accident. Time to do something.
