I think this rule is pathetic because it's like schools care more about uniform and how the school looks instead of our education ...sort it out.

Absolutely disgusting my daughter wore same style trousers last year and nothing was said. It isn't a fashion show, teach the children like you should without discriminating against.

The issue with us wearing skinny trousers is ridiculous. It has no effect on our education, if anything sending letters home and taking us out of lessons for it is even more distracting. It is unfair and if we feel more comfortable in slim fitted, smart, BLACK trousers then we should be allowed to wear them as long as they aren't jeans or any other colour than black. Another issue is, it is incredibly sexist towards the girls as they only ask to see our trousers.
They try to blame it on male teachers which is just making the girls feel uncomfortable in whatever they are wearing and if that is the case the male teachers shouldn't be in that line of work if they find something so 'tempting' about skinny trousers.

Members of SLT are taking time away from our education to check if our trousers are too tight however they complain when we're late to class and say it's "important time". If it was that important they wouldn't keep wasting our time to check. My GCSE's are this year and the last thing on my mind is if my trousers are too tight. If I'm comfortable in the then I will wear them, and that's all that matters. Also, it's unfair treatment to girls because they aren't checking boys trousers which are equally as fitted as girls, so why aren't they as bothered about boys as they are girls? Probably because they sexualise girls and see it as a distraction when it's not. Teach the boys how to behave.

Sending us home because of our trousers when we have GCSE classes and then complaining about our attendance? Should focus on bigger issues rather than our trousers. We look smart what's the problem?

At The Dukeries, We care about our children's education, therefore we will send children back home from a full day of school becuase what they wear is more important than some of the most important weeks of their life, their GCSE's

Let the kids wear trousers, skinny firt of baggy, it's better than the mini skirts some school girls wear.

What difference does it make , this will not affect the way they learn. The male teachers shouldn't be looking at the girls bums at all
