Extractor fan must vent outside to cut down the humidity. The charcoal filters will end up creating home environment in which mould will thrive well leading to respiratory problems.

Yes, the cost of rectifying this should not be on the homeowner.

Cooking smells all over the house and water collecting on the kitchen units is a disaster. We have to cook with the windows open because the extractor is not doing its job!

Gallaghers have advised us that the manufacturer of the extractor units in all of our homes at Grey Abbey View absolutely have to be ducted to work correctly. Currently no single dwelling in the estate has a ducted extractor fan - this will inevitably result in warped kitchen presses, possible discolouration on our kitchen ceilings/walls. This solution is a lazy, cost cutting method of deploying an extractor unit and the cost to rectify this should not be on the homeowners.
