When you buy a Ducati, you're buying mechanical beauty, but also visual beauty.
But this new swingarm is a departure from Ducati's aesthetic DNA.

The vast majority of motorcyclists ride on public roads, with the safety limitations that this impose, and won't be able to take advantage of the performance gains offered by this new swingarm. On the other hand, we are all capable of regretting the loss of that emotion that the beauty of a Ducati single-sided swingarm brought us.

Nothing prevents you from selling your motorcycles in a "classic" version, with a sublime single-sided swingarm, and in a "performance" version with a more rigid, and indeed more effective on the track, traditional swingarm.
