To start with, airliners can introduce 2 days in a week...the reasons/benefits are:
1. All Middle East Travellers now go via Delhi or Mumbai n they need to wait long time. With this direct flight from Dubai, all people will prefer this.
2. All people residing in UK, Europe, Ameica, Africa too can take this route instead of changing flights in Delhi or Mumbai. This will save lot of time n people will prefer.
3. This will boost Tourism in Assam and North East. People from Middle East dont visit Assam, bcoz of long flight time n high price. Having a direct flight will reduce Time as well as price. So, we can expect many tourists in near future.
4. Guwahati can become Stop-Over for travellers from Middle East to South East Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Kualalumpur etc). This will encourage travellers to take the route via Ghy.
5. People from Kolkata or Bangladesh too can use this fight service as an alternate route, considering timings/connecting flights etc.
Eventually airliners will make good business, may be in around 3-6 months time.
