Those of you who have decided, or are currently deciding, which courses to choose for the coming semester/-s, might have noticed that there are only four IT security related courses to choose from at DSV. These are: SESA, DIFO, CYFO and NETSEC. The reason for this is a formerly weak interest in IT security related courses from students at DSV. I believe that there are many (hopefully many enough) students taking this course that wish to continue gaining and developing their IT security knowledge by taking more courses in the subject, without having to go to Luleå or Blekinge technical university. The only way we as students can make a change to this is if we speak up and let the staff responsible know that we are interested in more security courses than those available, and that we urge for a change! Therefore I kindly ask you to please share and show your interest in more IT security courses at DSV by signing this petition. The signatures will be handed over to the staff responsible for these matters, to prove that there, now, is a general interest for these courses.
