On behalf of the Drug Free South Bronx Coalition, we are strongly urging our local councilmembers to put in place a local ordinance to limit the amount of tobacco ads that are displayed in our local groceries. Tobacco use among our youth are increasing rapidly and surveys prove that part of the reason is due to tobacco ads being placed at eye level. Please support our efforts by signing our petition!! Our goal is to recieve 5000 signatures

Seeing this momentum grow has deeply moved me because I grew up seeing these ads in every corner store in my neighborhood. Knowing that so many of you see the toll this takes on our children gives me so much hope for the future of our streets.

Enough is enough. My kids see this stuff every single time we go to the corner store for milk and bread. Tired of them pushing poison on our youth.
