SAY NO TO DRUGS!!

The use of drugs in Pakistan worries me since about 700 people die in Pakistan alone because of the overdose of Drugs. Pakistan is also one of the largest production of Heroin in the world and is bordered by Afghanistan the leading heroin production in the world. If this goes on hundreds of children and adults will be addicted to illegal drugs causing depression, stress, nausea and also DEATH. Drug addicts soon turn to crime which involves theft and prostitution to gain money for illegal substances. Since drugs are illegal and addictive many druggies can not live without it and soon begin smuggling them in to countries.

A large amount of drug addicts are young children. These 12 year olds do not understand the effects and soon after a few trials they soon realise how addicting it really is. Children soon begin missing school and receiving poor grades causing them to get into trouble. They soon become frustrated and also turn to violence by involoving themselves in daily fights in school. However it is most dangerous for kids to be addicted since it leads to a short life if not cared for by therapy.

However its never to late to make a change, to make a change there has to be commitment to medication and therapy from a rehab. If there is no commitment then there could be a relapses and the treatment will have to be done from the start. Therapy takes long greueling months which helps with addiction and depression. The most effective way to deal with addiction is to avoid symptoms that might trigger it like for example staying away from drug addicts or drugs. Some people might just need to talk about their problems to a person who will listen and help.

Drug addiction comes with consequeances such as pain and damages the nervous system alone with the brain.

In order to see a change we have to contribute to the change by standing up for whats right and raising an awareness throughout the country. Its time the government takes a stand and starts educating the society about illegal drugs and to avoid harmful substances.
