I recently dropped all services down to basic cell & text only. My carrier, T-Mobile tells me that they have a special rate plan for longtime customers. It's called the "Loyalty Unlimited Plan" for my wife & I. Yet, the 2 phone plan costs $89 and change (Cell service only). When inquiring about texting Oh, that's an extra $19 and change. The total for cell & text unlimited is almost $110!!! That sucks. In fact that is $50 more than what it should cost. People have just accepted it. But, I don't want to anymore. That's just too expensive. We need to stand together and tell the carriers that we are not happy with the overpriced services. Drop 'em!!!!

I have thought about it pretty hard and have come to this conclusion, I got along great with no cell phone 9 years ago. I think I can deal with life without a cell phone. There's always Skype....$29.90 per year anywhere in USA & Canada......that ain't bad.
We've become so dependant on cell phones that we don't tell the carriers that we don't want to pay what they demand. If we all say "no" and threaten to drop all services, they have to listen to us.
Drop your rates guys, or we'll drop you!
