Driveway is a 5 piece emo/punk outfit hailing from Dublin Ireland. Their sound can be traced back to the 90's, to bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, And None Of Them Knew They Were Robots. Encompassed by layers of catchy guitar licks, waves of modest melancholia and held together by a tender urgency to move, to get up and wander directionless into the amethyst glow of summer. Driveway finds its niche atop a wheat covered hill, in the last quarter of a bottle of tea or alcohol, watching the sun fold into fireflies. And it's about damn time they release that full length they promised us nearly 4 years ago. Hate to break it but a series of 3 song eps aint gunna cut it. Never mind the fact that in addition to being quite expensive, life happens jazz comes up and syncing five schedules can be near impossible, it's time pony up boys.
