We the undersigned, request Meijer (located at 808 N Route 59) to finish the sidewalk extension on the North side of Drexel Ave to include a ramp leading down to cross the road. Please complete this section of private parcel or to give that SW corner of parcel 0721200062 and the City of Aurora for public right of way so that the sidewalk can be completed. Currently the sidewalk on the North side of Drexel Ave comes to a dead end in the middle of grass. This incomplete sidewalk impedes pedestrians ease of access to Meijer. The residents of the Lehigh Station community (and future residents of 500 Station Blvd apts at 770 Station blvd) desire better access to the store be made possible. This would aid pedestrians walking with children & strollers, seniors, pedestrians wishing to bike, or those who require a wheel chair. As the City of Aurora is trying to market and develop this area with greater "walk-ability", we respectfully request that the sidewalk be completed all the way along this short section of land on the North side of Drexel Ave to include a ramp leading down to cross the road.
