Dress Code is too strict and can actually serve as a distraction from school. I don’t go to NHS but when I was trying to do study at work for a test at a picnic table I had I got dress coded and was unable to, and on top of that returned to class too late to take test.

I believe that everyone should express in their own ways and styles just as I fought to be able to wear my cowboy hat and boots and jeans I won. NEVER GIVE UP ON WHAT YOU BELIVE IN!

Naples High school does not let kids be themselves, they claim to love diversity and let people be themselves but don’t let us. I dropped out from Naples high because it was such a close minded school that just made me feel miserable. I hope they change everything soon so other students don’t feel how felt when I was there. They enforce so many rules for dress code for girls but nothing is inappropriate about the dress code these students want, if you think boys are going to get distracted from our knees and shoulders maybe the school should teach young men how to respect women more. In the real world no body cares what you wear, yes some jobs have dress code but when youre a teenager you should be able to have the freedom you won’t have when you grow older. Most jobs don’t care about how you look they care about your worth ethic.
