Girls get in trouble for having the shoulder showing like sorry didnt know boys can get that distracted by my shoulder yet you can walk into gym and see them shirtless.

I believe my school is using sexism towards females...they tell us to cover up and it's pretty much not fair for us..

The topic of dress code and women's equality/freedom is quite controversial and needs to be properly recognized at it's value. The problem is not that school dress codes imply that girls' bodies are inherently sexual.. Dress codes are there to keep young girls at a level of modesty and respect for themselves because its appropriate for our age and as a society in general. I think what girls need is not a restricting dress code but some basic lessons on how to act like a lady. Only real ladies get treated like a lady. In this modern time for women, carrying yourself with class and femininity is something girls just stumble upon and ignore. I think it's more that there's not enough positive influence in the world. We're surrounded by a bunch of Kim Kardashians & not enough Adeles. Most girls underestimate the powerful and divine role they will posses as respectable women. Like back in the 50's.. when America was at its most successful because the women were women, and everyone cared to dress with respect! So, LISD, instead restricting us like prisoners, you should actually educate The Students on how to honor ourselves & others more effectively :)

Yeah, the LISD dress code is ridiculous! I mean, I never worry about breaking it, but the whole "leggings" rule is stupid. Girls should have more freedom with what they wear, but not like super short shorts and crop-tops. Just a little more freedom, you know?
LISD should change the rules! After watching your videos, I was shocked. Expensive shorts only just too short? Cut her some slack! This is freaking Texas, not Antarctica!!!

This will not work! This won't get noticed by anyone that is involved in the rules of the district. Why? Well 1000 people isn't enough, just realize how many people go to school in the district. So what I'm daying is this won't even make a dent.
