I started this because I was frustrated by what I saw in the hallways and I never thought so many of you would agree. It is still hard for me to believe that this has grown into a real conversation among us. I am learning so much from the stories you are sharing and I am just trying to keep up with everything you have sent my way.

I truly never imagined that so many people would care about this issue at our school. This momentum belongs entirely to all of you who decided to step up and speak out.

absolutely agree. dress code is sexist, unfair, and outright stupid. change in our school system is desperately needed.

This is completely true, for girls to be told not to wear shorts and tank tops simply because they are “distracting” is absolutely sexist. It is not our fault if a boy cannot focus because of our shoulders, they should be able to deal with it, we girls would NEVER say that what a boy is wearing is distracting.
Another thing is guys don’t get dress coded for rips in their jeans but girls do like wtf
This dress code is very over the top we should not have one the boys have one but they don’t follow it I’m tired of getting dress coded
It's time that dress code is fair. Y'all always on the girls.

Love you Nicole and this dress code is terrible. Everybody has different body types and some people may have long arms (me) and our shorts have to be down to our fingertips
