"Teenagers are at an age where they want to experiment. By putting students in inclusion for dying their hair or having facial piercings your not allowing individuality and self-expression. You are also directly affecting students' education by removing them from lessons and isolating them. Many students want to express themselves via experimenting with their hair, having nose rings, or multiple ear piercings, however, they are forced not to because they don’t want to put their education in jeopardy. In the past not allowing people to freely express who they are has caused major self-confidence issues and identity crisis’s for the youth. We already conform to the school uniform rules which also takes away self-identity but by making everybody the same you are removing what makes us all human, uniqueness. No two humans are the same so we shouldn’t be forced to look the same. Creativity and uniqueness are lacking in this school and something must be done to combat that or the world is going to lose its creative minds. It may seem small but something such as dyed hair or a nose stud can boost a person's self-worth and confidence. Self-esteem is at an all-time low for young people, surely you want to combat this crippling issue affecting your student's education, careers, and future. If you truly care about your students this is a small price to pay for their welfare
