We, the undersigned, ask former U.S. Senator Mike Gravel to run in the 2012 Democratic presidential primary. Our country needs a leader who is unafraid to stand up for progressive principles. Senator Gravel has fought heroically for over four decades to put the power of government back in the hands of the American people. We believe he is the right candidate to make this race. His candidacy will send a message to Washington that progressive values still matter. Should he decide to run, we pledge to help Senator Gravel spread his message and secure ballot access in all 50 states.
