Physical size matches existing QBs. As a sophomore he showed he can stand in the pocket and his stats reflect, he has an AMAZING work ethic - working harder than most ALL summer. The kid has it. Let's take a chance, we are no worse. Absolute worse case scenario it doesn't work and we try again next year's draft for QB. Besides... a DE has NEVER won a team a super bowl.

Please draft Johnny, if we dont someone else will and we'll be sorry. It's been a long time since a player like Johnny has been available and we have the opportunity to get him. Give us Texans a chance to be THAT team!!!! PLEASE! Strop drafting people who arent really needed. WE NEED MANZIEL! Besides he's a Texan native damnit!

We need Johnny! Bottom line, Fitzpatrick is okay but not what we need. We need someone like Manziel who can run and throw as well.

Being Houston Oilers/Texans fan for 40 years I have never been more excited about a draft. I don't know what this kids got, but I can actually feel that he is meant to do something great for the Texans and Texas. Johnny Manziel is a TEXAN!!!!
