Manziel is what the Texan's need after this past year both football and fan wise. Don't let rigid, NFL habits make us miss a once in a lifetime opportunity to change the way football is played here and move the franchise to the top!

Much credit is due Brother Buzbee for his creative efforts to ensure that Johnny fulfills his destiny in a Texans uniform! Draft experts ranging from Mel Kiper to Skip Bayless now concur that Johnny should be the No. 1 pick. This is especially compelling from a Texans perspective given the present glaring instability at the QB position. In my humble opinion Johnny is the kind of unique talent that surfaces only 10 years or so. In fact, it is my belief that there are only 2 other players who should even merit a second of consideration as the Texans No. 1 pick (Jadeveon Clowney and Teddy Bridgewater). Johnny's upside vis-a-vis them is pretty apparent to all. For what would it gain the Texans to draft Jadeveon Clowney and have the No.1 defense, only to suffer through a mediocre at best offense (and an 8-8 record at best!). There is no doubt that Matt Schaub has "plateaued" and Case Keenum is a third string QB at best, that is if he even belongs in the NFL At all. Let us hope that Mssr's. McNair and O'brien share our vision!
